Steven Gregerson, President & Producer/Director

Historical to Current:

  Mr. Gregerson has over 15 years experience and success within the software and entertainment industries.  He has also recently assumed ownership of his family owned business of over 35 years in land development and construction where he has worked for the past 5 years.

While working for the family businesses (GregersonHomes & North ParkVillage), Mr. Gregerson formed Red Planet Cinema and Media Mixers, Inc . in 2002.  In the past 5 years these businesses have performed the following:

35 minute animated and video entertainment production for international taffy products manufacturer, TaffyTown	Libraries of over 200 animated backgrounds and DVD menus for video and television productions. Some animated backgrounds are sold by industry leader Sony Pictures software division.
Various animated materials for local production companies and Media Mixers.	Hollywood FX transition effects libraries sold by industry leader Avid Technologies.

While at Gregerson Homes and North ParkVillage, Mr. Gregerson oversaw the development of two subdivisions (over 50 lots), supervised construction of five spec homes, one luxury estate, a charitable home remodel, a commercial internal office build-out and off-site managed a 198 unit apartment complex.  He was involved in almost every facet of the business operations including; accounting, board meetings, project management and assisting 1031 exchange and sale of the 198 unit apartment complex.   He served as President of the Condo Association at the complex.  Mr. Gregerson has a B100 General Contractor license allowing him to build residential and commercial buildings.

From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Gregerson founded Synergy International, a software company that with his partner Chris Demiris developed the internationally known software product Hollywood FX. 

Mr. Gregerson was President of the company and his duties included developing a world wide distribution channel, manager of sales and marketing, creator of packaging materials and marketing materials and co-developer of the unique graphics utilized in the products.  He also championed 3rd party development and various office management duties over the companies employees.

Mr. Gregerson also arranged the sale of the company in the year 2000 and remained on for a two year integration with its new owners Pinnacle Systems, Inc. (now owned by industry leader Avid Technologies).   During this time, Mr. Gregerson was Project & Marketing Manager and integrated Hollywood FX into almost every product line at the company which now accounts for millions of dollars in revenues per year.  His additional accomplishments include; sales training and product demonstrations, acquisitions of additional content and cost reduction of OEM contracts and e-commerce on-line sales.

Current to Future:

Red Planet Cinema:  The goal is to create a library of entertainment products for the content starved entertainment industry and its changing forms of distribution.  Currently planning a childrens animated shorts, full length animated motion pictures and animated television series while also co-producing independent full-length motion pictures and independent shorts.  All projects when completed will be shown at film festivals, shown in theatres through agreements with major studios or distributed direct to DVD.  As a part of the new direction of this company, Mr. Gregerson is creating networks of professionals and networking with major studios in the entertainment industry.  He will be inviting investors for all major motion picture productions.

Media Mixers, Inc: Currently in development of expanding the existing content libraries and repurposing this content to newly discovered lucrative marketplace.  It will also be adding software development to produce new Flash applications for these new markets.  It will maintain its sales of products to Sony Pictures and is working on OEM and distribution agreements with Avid Technologies, Apple, Adobe and Sonic Solutions.

Gregerson Homes, Inc: As full owner the company, Mr. Gregerson is currently planning two additional subdivisions with over 20 lots and is exploring land purchases in a long term strategy of creating unique multi-family residential and commercial developments.  As a part of the new strategy Mr. Gregerson will invite investors to insure that these new developments meet Class-A office, retail and multi-family residential standards with first class management.
